3 Pizza Dough Recipe & Homemade Pizza Recipe

Today I am really inspired to eat good food, so they best way to do that is to make it yourself! I decided to go all the way and made the dough also from scratch. So both the dough & the pizza I made. It it very easy, time is the only tool you need at your disposal. For the dough I used the directions on the back of Fleischmann's Pizza Crust Yeast. I used a 1 part liquid to 2 parts Flour. I replaced the water with flat beer because I read it works better. While it sounds good in theory, i didn't notice a difference. I think if i used Guiness rather than Miller Lite the taste would come through. At that point though it becomes expensive. Next time I will just use water.  My ingredients looked like this:
1 cup flat beer
2 cups all purpose flour
1 envelope yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoons salt
3 table spoons olive oil

After you follow the directions, which are easy and take very little time. You don't need to have it rise like in other types of cooking, so about 5-6 minutes after you start mixing you are ready for the toppings. I made my own sauce from a 16 oz can of diced tomatoes & dry spices. I put the diced tomatoes in the food processor though, to make it saucy. About 1 tablespoon each of:
My cheese was grated from a block of American white cheese. I then added green olives, yellow pepper, red pepper, spinach, & green peppers. The quantity of each is really up to your taste and of course you can add any number of other items or switch out some. This is what it looked like before it went into the oven.

I cooked it at 425 degrees for 25 minutes on aluminum foil. This is what it looked like after it came out.

It was absolutely awesome! Something i will try again and again because it was so easy. I used some different items than you might but part of my goal was to actually use what i had in the house. I hadn't planned on making so I certainly didn't want to go to the store for just a couple of items. If you are skeptical about the sauce i made, don't be it was as good or better than just about any sauce you will ever get from a giant chain pizza place. I gave me confidence that when my tomatoes finally grow out i can use them. My plan will be to cut the top off and simply drop them into the food processor. I bet it will be even better tasting and in total very easy. Enjoy!
